national geographic - Elemental: Hydrogen vs. Hindenburg
A National Geographic documentary by Academy Award-winner Robert Zemeckis, revealing how hydrogen has controlled the outcome of human history. It features an eclectic mix of animation and motion graphics inspired by design trends of each time period, including a solar system timeline, Hindenburg blueprints, hydrogen’s attraction to oxygen, the invention of the hydrogen bomb and the US/Soviet space race.
We delivered over 20 minutes of design content for the episode, as well as VFX shots.
