national film and sound archive - media and me

A charming 2D animation featuring a lovable squishy blue character (Jeremy jelly bean) has been crafted with the aim of educating school-aged children about media literacy. Each scene was designed to capture attention and distil the core learnings down into an easily-watchable animation, teaching students to question where the media they consume is coming from.

The Process

  1. Concepting and Character Design

  2. Storyboards and animatic

  3. 2D Animation

  4. Compositing in After Effects
