netflix - tidelands titles
For Netflix’s Australian supernatural drama, we wanted to craft a series of title cards that reflected the ethereal and mysterious nature of the creatures in the show.
In 3D, we sculpted a marble statue of a siren of the sea in the style that would be found on the prow of a ship. A closeup glimpse of the siren was revealed in each episode card, leading up to the full-body reveal in episode 8.
The motion graphics of the title were revealed with a sparkling substance combined with animated caustics for a supernatural effect.
